UCR Adjustment
Add, remove, or correct the number of vehicles on a UCR registration you already filed.
UCR fees are set by fleet size, so the vehicle count on your registration matters. If you added trucks, sold trucks, or registered in the wrong bracket, a UCR adjustment corrects your existing registration instead of starting over.
When You Need a UCR Adjustment
- You added trucks after registering and moved into a higher bracket
- You registered with a vehicle count that does not match your MCS-150
- You listed vehicles that only operate within one state and can be excluded
- An audit or inspection flagged your registered fleet size
What It Costs
Our service fee for a UCR adjustment is $49. If your new count moves you into a higher bracket, you also pay the difference between the two UCR fees, which we show before you pay. If your count goes down, UCR Plan rules decide whether any refund applies, and we tell you before filing.
Keep Your MCS-150 in Sync
Your UCR bracket and your MCS-150 vehicle count should match. If they do not, we recommend an MCS-150 update along with the adjustment so your FMCSA record and your UCR registration tell the same story.
How a UCR Adjustment Works
- Enter your USDOT number and the correct vehicle count.
- We locate your existing registration and calculate any fee difference.
- You approve the total, and we file the correction.
- You get an updated receipt by email.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to register again if my truck count changed?
No. An adjustment corrects your existing registration for that year.
Will I owe more?
Only if your new count moves you into a higher bracket. You pay the difference between the two brackets plus our service fee.
Can I adjust a past year?
Yes, tell us which year in the notes and we will check what the UCR system allows for that year.
